Chances are, Greg Paprocki's work has already found it's way into your home. As a highly sought after freelance illustrator, Greg has worked with some of the world's most prestigious ad agencies and publishing houses. Just take a peek at his client list and you'll find such powerhouse international brands as McDonald's, Pepsi, Yahoo, MTV, and Mattel. Greg's artwork has also graced the covers of several of The New York Times Best-Sellers List titles, and he has helped carry on the legacy of children's book icon Curious George, illustrating several books in a new series for publisher Houghton Mifflin. The Cherry Bombs were spawned one late August evening, when Greg (whose infatuation with pop culture, pulp fiction art, and vintage children's books is beyond obvious) and wife Beth strolled through the streets of their hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, scheming of ways to merge these passions with his talents. First came Jayne. Then Rizzo, then Candy, then Dotty. The rest of the gang just emerged as the weeks went by. And they keep crawling out of the woodwork. Check back often for new additions to the world of the Bombs. Greg and Beth live in the aforementioned Omaha, NE, with their baby daughter Lydia, and howling mutt Ada. |
